Aldi urgently recalls food products over salmonella concerns

Aldi has issued urgent recalls of two products over fears that they may be contaminated with salmonella.

Certain batches of the budget giant's Eat + Go Chicken & Bacon Caesar Wrap and Eat + Go Chicken & Bacon Caesar Wrap Triple Pack have been found to potentially contain the bacteria.

Shoppers who purchased either of these products with one of the use by dates in question are advised to return them immediately for a full refund.

Symptoms caused by salmonella include fever, diarrhoea, and abdominal cramps.

Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products, which will explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought them.

For more information, read the full recall notice here, or get in touch with Aldi here.
