Budget supermarket chain Aldi will open its latest store in Birmingham later this month. The German group has announced that its new venue in Stirchley will begin trading on November 24.
The new shop will be run by store manager Karina Gilbert who leads a team of 30 new members of staff, with recruitment ongoing to fill a further 15 vacancies.
She will be joined by Team GB Olympic hockey player Sarah Jones to officially open the store in Pershore Road.
Ms Gilbert said: "We can't wait to open the doors to the new store in Stirchley. It's set to be a special day and having Olympic hero Sarah Jones join us will make it a morning to remember."
