Discounted supermarket Aldi is set to create around 1,000 new logistics jobs across the country by the end of the year.
The popular German grocer, which is currently the UK's fifth largest supermarket, currently operates more than 960 stores and employs around 38,000 staff members.
Now they are looking to expand even further with a range of full time and part time jobs that will pay an hourly wage of £19.80 per hour, reports Hull Live.
The new roles up for grabs are set to be across the supermarket's distribution, transport and maintenance teams at its 11 Regional Distribution Centres nationwide.
Aldi's job push has come as part of the grocer's expansion strategy, which plans to create 2,000 permanent roles across the UK this year.
It also comes after the budget supermarket announced its plans to open more Scottish branches and called upon the public to help them choose suitable locations.
Kelly Stokes, Recruitment Director at Aldi UK, said: “As we continue to grow and make Aldi accessible to even more shoppers, we need more amazing colleagues at our distribution sites across the country to make that possible.
"As well as market-leading pay and benefits, being an Aldi colleague means a great working environment and real opportunities to progress within the business.
"We look forward to welcoming even more great people to our distribution centres to become a part of our success.”
