Aldi has announced it is now stocking a special fundraising beer that will help support Ukraine amidst the ongoing Russian invasion.
The budget supermarket is now stocking the Stand With IPA on shelves across the country and 100% of the proceeds will be donated towards the Disasters Emergency Committee’s (DEC) humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.
The humanitarian beer is on store shelves from today and has been brewed by Cornwall based brewer, The Harbour Brewing Co.
Donations will be funnelled through to its member charities and local partners responding in Ukraine, and in neighbouring countries.
The Stand With IPA costs just £1.49 and has been described as "a well-balanced, refreshing IPA with tropical fruits on the palate and a sweet papaya aroma."
It is the latest move from the popular German grocer as they continue to show their support and solidarity with the people of Ukraine.
Since the conflict between the two countries began in March, many supermarkets, including Aldi, have announced their support for the people of Ukraine.
News of the humanitarian beer and its profits comes after the budget supermarket announced that they would be donating a relief fund worth 5 million euros to help support those affected by the conflict.
The supermarket also recently announced it would 'welcome' applications for Ukrainian refugees for a variety of 8,000 roles it had available.
Aldi's I Stand With IPA is available now for £1.49 and will be on store shelves while stocks last.
