Many Brits are still holding off touching the thermostat as the temperatures dip - and the hardest time of the day to resist temptation is when it comes to bedtime. But Aldi shoppers have been raving about a ‘snuggly’ duvet set that means they’ve avoided touching the central heating for another few weeks.
What’s more is that the budget German retailers have slashed the price of the luxurious bedding, saving shoppers even more money as they try to cut costs at home.
The Kirkton House Printed Fleece Super King Duvet Set was originally £39.99, but has been slashed to under £25, making it cheaper than both the king size and double sets, which are still full price at £34.99 and £29.99 respectively.

Made from a soft teddy fleece material, the bedding set comes with a duvet cover and two pillowcases that shoppers say make it almost impossible to get out of bed as it’s so cosy.
Aldi said: “Elevate your sleeping experience with this fleece duvet, perfect for the colder months ahead. This duvet set will keep you feeling warm and cosy giving you the best nights this festive holiday.”
Quite often, teddy material can be difficult to wash, but the site's 100 per cent five star reviews have said the warm and soft set has washed well. Catina said: “This duvet cover is a great fit, very soft and warm and a fab price too. Looks good also and washes well. Very pleased.”
Another shopper, called Becci, added: “Snuggly and warm, this duvet set is perfect for chilly, winter nights. It washes well, and I tumble dried it on a low setting, and it came out perfect.”
The set comes in pink, grey, navy and checked, so you’ll be sure to find a version that suits your room. One customer said it’s even better than an electric blanket!
Linds wrote: “I absolutely love this bedding. So soft and snuggly and warm. Perfect for the cold winter nights. I am going to buy some for the spare room too for when my guests come to stay.”
Louise added: “No need for an electric blanket with this duvet set. Material is surprisingly soft, good quality and the weight of it drapes around your body. Bought extras for family for next winter due to rise in the costs of fuel. You won’t be disappointed!”
You can find the Aldi fleece bedding sets online in double, king and superking - with the superking being the cheapest at £24.99.
