Aldi is selling a pair of £45 hair straighteners as part of their popular weekly Specialbuy promotion, and shoppers are saying they are better than GHD's
The budget supermarket is adored by shoppers, known for its range of bargains every Thursday and Sunday. Whether it's Christmas decorations or a gadget gift for a loved one, Aldi seems to have it all.
Today (Thursday, December 8) Aldi shoppers can get their hands on its latest Specialbuy which could save shoppers some serious cash. A pair of 2022 GHD straighteners don't come cheap, priced at £119 online, Aldi fans believe they've found the perfect dupe.

The Remington Proluxe Hair Straighteners are priced at £44.99 and come with a heatproof pouch. They feature glide ceramic coated plates and a OPTI heat technology said to make your hair feel straighter and 'last longer'.
Reaching a maximum temperature of 230°C, the Remington straighteners have 9 temperature settings and take 10 seconds to heat up. The gadget auto shuts off after an hour and is said to have 'ultra-fast heat recovery'.
The full product description read: "Give your hair a boost with these Remington Proluxe Hair Straighteners. These premium hair straighteners will have you looking your absolute best for your next event. With rose gold accents, the PROluxe straightener locks in beautiful and healthy-looking styles all day long. As seen in the reviews section of the Aldi website, the straighteners have been an Aldi hit for many years - and now they've finally returned. The hair tool is available to purchase online only.
Among the reviews, one shopper said: "Really good, heats up quick, great swivel head and temperature dial, does get quite warm but it’s brilliant for the price."
A second shopper added: "Excellent straighteners no pulling, bought these as a put me on until I could afford GHD. No need for GHD and just as good."
A third added: "Brilliant straighter for the price as good as my old GHD ones." A fourth review read: "I bought this a month ago, and I’m so happy I did. Great straighteners work well."
