Aldi shoppers snap up £2.99 'magic' cream which helps to 'prevent stretch marks'

Stretch marks often appear on the body when skin expands or contracts rapidly, which most commonly occurs from pregnancy, rapid weight gain or loss, or they could just be down to good ol’ genetics.

Whichever way you received your warrior stripes, they’re certainly nothing to be ashamed of, and each and every one of us has them.

However, we know that not everyone is comfortable with their marks, and if you’re someone who’s looking to reduce the appearance of yours, shoppers are raving about Aldi’s latest £2.99 stretch mark cream, oil and masks which are all part of the retailer's new mum to be range.

Now, no cream will completely make your stretch marks disappear, but they can certainly help reduce or prevent them from appearing on your skin - especially if used throughout your pregnancy.

A favourite from the range is this £2.99 Stretch Mark Smoother Cream which Aldi promises will help to hydrate and nourish your skin while smoothing out stretch marks. It has been developed with doctors, has been dermatologically tested and is vegan friendly too.

Shoppers have even been comparing Aldi’s budget cream to Mama Mio’s bestselling Anti-Stretch Mark Tummy Rub Butter which usually sells at £24 a pot, although it’s on sale now for just £7.20 a tub in the brand's huge January sale.

Aldi's mum to be range also includes a Stretch Mark Soother Oil - which costs £3.99 a bottle. Although it has been designed for expectant mothers, it can be used on anybody with sensitive skin who's looking to reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

Last but not least, if you’re really looking to treat yourself to a pamper session, why not pick up Aldi’s Magic Bump Mask for just £2.99. The mask is infused with rosehip oil and aloe vera to cool and soothe the skin, while preventing stretch marks.
