Aldi shoppers rushing to buy 'Ferrero Rocher dupe' that costs £2.59

Aldi shoppers are rushing to get their hands on chocolate that tastes "just like Ferrero Rocher" after one customer raved about the item in a Facebook group.

Posting about her find in a group dedicated to those who frequent the budget retailer, the woman said: "I can't cope with these Ferrero Rocher knock offs, they're bloody gorgeous."

She also shared a photo of the Moser Roth Nocciola chocolates, which are described by Aldi as "milk chocolates with a hazelnut praline filling, wafer and a whole hazelnut". The 150g packs cost £2.59 each.

Hundreds of people have since commented on the shopper's post, sharing their love for the chocolate treat. One shopper said: "I discovered these a few years ago. I also bagged them for pennies when they reduced them after the Xmas period."

A second said: "Mmm, will definitely be trying these, they look too delicious". A third added: "Just bought these and me and my daughter can’t tell the difference!"

A fourth said: "Can't wait for my next shop now, but best not get too many haha".

Aldi's Moser Roth range has been praised a lot in recent years. Last year, its Mountain bars were compared to Toblerone chocolate, but for a considerably lower price.
