Supermarket giant Aldi has been praised by shoppers for a 27p dessert that tastes 'exactly like Cadbury'. And as if the price wasn't good enough, the desserts only contain a fraction of the usual calories of an indulgent chocolate pudding.
An Aldi shopper was so impressed with the desserts, she said they will 'change your life'. Aldi's Brooklea Milk Chocolate Light Choc Pots are only 64 calories each, and work out at 27p a pot.
A video of the Aldi desserts was shared on social media, where it's gone viral with shoppers.

A TikTok video singing the praises of the chocolate pudding has garnered over 25,000 views. She said: “I don’t know if anybody else knows about these but I’m going to put you onto something that’s going to change your life. They taste just like Dairy Milk chocolate button puddings.”
She held up a four-pack of the German giant’s Brooklea Milk Chocolate Light Choc Pots. The famed chocolate pots aren't only £1.09 for four, but they’re also only 64 calories per pot. People in the comments section were gagging for them too, says MyLondon.
“Nooo it’s hard enough finding the protein puddings - don’t make these sell out too the caramel ones get me through,” wrote one viewer. And a second said: “Apart from my brain goes something like this 'well they're only 60 something calories so...I'll eat all four at once'!"
“Put squirty cream on it. Game changer dessert for less than 100 cals xx,” recommended another. A fourth said: “Bruh I was legit thinking of buying this the other day!!!!!!" A fifth said: “I always buy these... please delete this video. I can’t be bothered with another item selling out hahaha.”
