Aldi shoppers rave over skincare range that's 'better than Liz Earle' and leaves them 'glowing'

Aldi shoppers have been raving over a selection of skincare that they have hailed as "absolutely brilliant" - and prices start from just 99p.

The retailer's popular Specialbuys aisle is full of all sorts of bargains, from garden furniture to ball pits, and includes a beauty range that has long been a huge hit with customers. Aldi's Lacura products have racked up thousands of five-star reviews online, and many make convincing dupes for pricier brands - at a fraction of the price.

Shoppers were quick to express their excitement when Aldi shared that one of the bestsellers from the range, the £2.99 Lacura Pink Clay Exfoliating Face Scrub, was back in stock in stores. "Pink clay is back!" one shopper exclaimed in the comments section. "Time for a top up."

The face scrub already seems to have sold out on the Aldi website, but you may be able to pick a bottle up in your nearest store if you're lucky - and there's also a Lacura Pink Clay Mask available for £5.99, which promises to leave your skin "looking clearer and brighter". The mask is recommended by an impressive 99% of Aldi shoppers, with dozens of happy customers leaving five-star reviews for the product.

"Love, love, love this mask and can understand why it has such positive reviews," one person wrote. "My skin glowed and felt lovely and soft even after the first application."

Someone else said: "Another great product from Aldi. This is an excellent mask that works really well and is very favourably priced."

"Bought this clay mask three months ago, this stuff is amazing," another shopper penned. "My skin has cleared up and I have lovely soft clear skin for the first time in ages, I will certainly buy this product again."

The Lacura collection is also known for its dupes of designer perfume brands. Shoppers have compared the Dark Blossom Eau De Parfume to YSL's Black Opium - but while the latter will set you back over £100, the Aldi version can be snapped up for just £5.99. One customer called it a "beautiful, long lasting fragrance", saying it earned them "lots of compliments".

Some Lacura products are currently on sale on the Aldi website, including the bestselling Hot Cloth Cleanser which has been reduced from £2.99 to £1.99. The cleanser has over 850 five-star reviews, with one satisfied shopper writing: "Absolutely brilliant - better than my Liz Earle." The Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish version costs £16.65 from Boots for a bottle half the size of Aldi's dupe.

The cheapest items in the Lacura selection have a price tag of just 99p, including Moisturising Face Wash, Face Wash Gel and Smoothing Face Scrub. And it seems that shoppers won't be scrimping on quality by paying less than a quid, with all three products earning dozens of rave reviews each and praised as "fantastic", "the best" and "great quality".
