Aldi shoppers praise £20 slow cooker that ‘helps save money' in the kitchen

Shoppers are desperately thinking about ways to keep costs down at home, and one way in which you can save on energy is by investing in energy-efficient appliances.

Mainly thanks to TikTokers sharing their cooking masterpieces, ‘airfryer’ and ‘slow cooker’ have become the most searched terms on Google over the past few months - even beating PS5, Xbox and iPhone 14 and 13 to the number one spot.

And now, it seems budget supermarket Aldi has joined in on the hype by launching its very own £20 Ambiano 3.5L Chalkboard Slow Cooker which shoppers are loving.

The slow cooker boasts three heat settings and a removable cooking pot for ease whilst whipping up your favourite dishes. There’s a non-stick coating, toughened glass lit and non-slip feet for extra safety. On top of all of that, it doubles as a chalkboard too - great for jotting down ingredients, recipes or leaving message.

Not only does it make cooking a breeze, but it’ll also save you money in the long run by reducing your oven and hob use. The popular kitchen appliance has already racked up plenty of five-star reviews on Aldi’s website, with shoppers saying it’s “perfect for Autumn stews.”

One delighted customer said: “Such great value for money. I was worried about storage but it’s a great size and well designed. Less mess when making a slow cooker dish and more economical also.”

A second wrote: “This slow cooker is perfect for Autumn evening suppers so far we have cooked a beef joint and beef in beer casserole, and both were great.”

While a third said: “This is a brilliant addition to our kitchen, I love that I can write the time on it for when the food is cooked. Our first cook was Gammon and it came out really well. I would recommend this to everyone.”

Like all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone, so we’d snap up this bargain slow cooker whilst it’s available. You can pre-order it for yourself here and get it by 9 October.
