A 7ft inflatable dinosaur sprinkler has caused a real uproar among Aldi customers, who could barely contain their blushes at the sight of the rather rude hose placement. The giant dino-shaped sprinkler has a built-in water sprayer, whereby water is pumped into the dino via a hose and squirted out of its mouth.
The back garden toy looks like it would make for plenty of fun for kids this summer once the warm weather hits. Some shoppers however felt they had to avert their eyes after clocking where the hose nozzle had been placed – right between the prehistoric creature's legs.
A number of shoppers were left in hysterics at the accidentally x-rated detail, sharing their amusement online.
One person chuckled: "Interesting hose placement there. Had to look twice."
Another guffawed that it was "less of a sprinkle more like a tinkle", while another wrote, "This is middle aisle genius! I, sorry I mean my kids would love one."
Even Aldi joined in with the silliness, quipping: "At this point, we should probably ask the product design team if they’re okay."
Not everyone saw the funny side, however, with a fifth fuming shopper raging: "You gonna name the person responsible for this c*** up."
According to the product description on the Aldi website: "Treat your little one to a summer to remember with this Dinosaur Giant Sprinkler by Summer Waves.
"This themed sprinkler will help to create your child's dream garden adventure. Watch on as they laugh and giggle away as they make their way through the sprinkling water."
The Mirror has reached out to Aldi for comment.
