Aldi shoppers impressed by £5 'Booty Balm' that makes your skin 'glow'

Aldi customers have been left impressed by the budget supermarket's latest Lacura skincare product - which many are saying is a dupe of a much more expensive luxury beauty brand. The SpecialBuy item shoppers have been raving over is the £4.99 Lacura Summer Touch Booty Balm.

Many have taken to social media to share their positive reviews of the balm, which is available in stores now and is said to melt into the skin and leave it "visibly firmer". According to Aldi, the product is "specially formulated" with a host of "skin-loving ingredients" - including Amazonian plant guaraná extract, cupuacu butter and coconut oil.

A description online reads: "When the weather gets warmer, make sure your skin is ready with this luxurious Lacura Booty Balm 250ml. A great easy way to firm your skin and add a healthy glow, this will have you looking beach ready in no time."

On the popular Facebook, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, one pleased customer, Zoe Goldsmith, said: "Aldi have done it again... Brazilian bum bum cream dupe..." Aldith Quinn added: "Got this from Aldi as I saw it on This Morning earlier on today. £4.99 It's a Dupe for Bum Bum Cream. It smells gorgeous!"

Fellow group member, Dawn Jenkins Wallace, replied: "It's amazing. Smells good enough to eat so thick and creamy unfortunately would need more than one jar to sort 'my booty out', but lovely body moisturizer."

Emma Louise claimed: "Loads of people been raving about this from Aldi." Jo Capon tagged a friend and said: "Booty balm shopping tomorrow."

Shoppers have been that impressed by the £4.99 balm, plenty have been comparing it to Sol De Janeiro’s Brazilian Bum Bum Cream - which costs £35 in Boots.

On Instagram, fashion and beauty account @Galsonthehighstreet urged shoppers to "run" to Aldi for the "dupe". Alongside a video of the balm, the caption reads: "It’s unreal, I applied this morning and can still smell it now, gives off such Sol De Janeiro vibes for just £4.99!"
