With the cost of living crisis continuing, many people are on the look out to save money where possible.
And with winter about to kick in as temperatures are already dropping now that we're in autumn, people are also looking at how they can stay warm without the need to turn on their heating.
The surge in items such as air fryers and blankets comes as millions across the UK are seeing their energy bills rise with supermarkets now offering a range of blankets - normal and electric - in a bid to help families out.

And it seems as though shoppers at Aldi have found a steal with MEN reporting that people are calling it the 'warmest and softest duvet set ever' costing £35 by brand Kirkton House.
Better yet, they also say that there's no need to pop on their heating because it keeps them warm enough.
Taking to their website, the budget supermarket boast that the "duvet set will keep you feeling warm and cosy giving you the best nights this festive holiday" - and it seems that the reviews agree.
The duvet set has racked up several five-star reviews with one person writing: "Value for money, lovely quality and super snuggly. It’s not quite cold enough but after putting this on my bed it made it quite difficult to get out."
Another said: "Very happy with this set. Lovely and cosy, washed and dried beautifully."
"Beautiful and soft fleece, really luxurious. Washes really well" said a third whilst a fourth left a review saying: "This duvet set is wonderful, so soft and cosy I’m so pleased I purchased it. Easy to wash and dries really quickly. I would definitely recommend."
