Aldi shoppers gush over £25 Jo Malone giant candle dupe that's a whopping £325 cheaper

One of Aldi's supersize candles is proving a hit with shoppers - costing £325 less than Jo Malone's.

The supermarket's candle range is being hailed as the next best thing to the designer brand. The giant Hotel Collection candles are back in time for Christmas and there are new festive scents to choose from.

The 2.5kg four-wick Hurricane Candles are priced at £24.99, while Jo Malone's biggest candles cost £350 for 2.1kg, reports Birmingham Live. However, shoppers will have to be quick to get their hands on the candles as they are selling fast online.

The giant candles come in almond and macaroon, velvety rose, pomegranate and lime and basil scents. There's also a range of 1.5kg centrepiece candles with 100 hours of burn time for £14.99 - £43 cheaper than Jo Malone's - which come in pine and eucalyptus or cherry and clove.

Aldi has further launched a new 300g ceramic townhouse candle for £9.99, which is £84 off Jo Malone's townhouse candle. They come in scents of glowing fires or lavender and white musk - or there's a matching ceramic reed diffuser for £9.99.

The candles have received good reviews from scores of customers online. One person said: "Lovely scent and size bought three in the end! Use the whole range regularly." And another wrote: "Impressive candles. I ordered online. They are huge. Great gifts, keeping one for myself!"
