The Aldi dupe, by Crestwood, costs just just 99p for one pastry and can be baked from frozen.
Compared to Greggs, shoppers are saving money with the chain's Sausage, Bean & Cheese Melt costing £1.65 - almost double the cost.
Taking to Aldi UK shoppers Facebook group, one customer posted to the group to share their find with it 208.3k members.
They said: "Has anyone tried these yet? Are they nice? We love the Greggs ones but at that price you can’t go wrong."

Responding to the post, one said: "Aww these are my sons favourite. So glad they have these as saves me a fortune compared to the Greggs ones and not a lot of difference. Buy them every week. Was horrible last year when couldn't get them for weeks and had to resort to Iceland and pay full price for Greggs ones."
Another added: "Yes I love them with homemade chips even though Greggs are expensive but you still can not wrong with this even they taste the same not much difference."
A third commented: "I have bought them for my daughter as I used to get her the Greggs ones and she’s never complained."
