Aldi shopper spots design flaw on her Kevin the Carrot toy

There was chaos across Aldi stores last week as people battled it out to secure a toy from the Kevin the Carrot range.

They quickly sold out when they were released online and when the supermarket giant started selling the physical ones in shops customers were seen queueing around car parks to get in.

In Bristol there were dozens of people queuing, with as many as 150 people reported as waiting outside an Aldi in Weston-super-Mare.

But one shopper was left baffled by her little baby carrot toy after discovering a 'design blunder', reports Manchester Evening News.

Instead of a normal smile, the baby toy has an upside down design - something which is apparently pretty unique.

Speaking to the MEN, Michelle Denny said: "I bought the Christmas tree decoration pack of Chantenay, Jasper and Baby carrot, but my baby carrot has a upside down smile."

Michelle then revealed how she'd tried to find out whether or not the toy was a one-off, but can't find another one like it.

She said: "I've looked through eBay and lots of other places and can't find another one."

She confirmed the toy had been bought in the Fallowfield Aldi on Lloyd Street, and is now hoping to find out if anybody else has found a carrot with the same design.

The M.E.N. has approached Aldi for comment.
