Aldi's 'sturdy and strong' £35 fire pit that 'keeps you very warm'

A new batch of SpecialBuys has landed in Aldi, and this time, it's garden furniture.

As well as the arrival of the sell-out egg chair, Aldi shoppers have been praising a 'sturdy and strong' £35 firepit to keep you warm on those cool spring evenings. The popular retailer is known for its affordable garden furniture, and is currently offering discount on some items.

A Gardenline Steel Fire Pit priced at £34.99 has received plenty of reviews online from happy shoppers. The fire pit is currently down from £45, giving shoppers £10 off to keep their garden cosy.

Online, the full product description reads: " Get the fire started with this Gardenline Steel Fire Pit 60cm. A heavy duty and durable fire pit, complete with an oiled steel bowl that sits on three sturdy legs. The practical and stylish design has been crafted to emphasise functional elegance and over time a rustic oxidised surface will develop."

The fire pit is currently on sale (Aldi)

The fire pit comes with a three year warranty and is made from 'robust gauge steel'. It features a 'heavy duty and durable industrial design' with three 'sturdy' legs.

According to the Aldi website, 65 out of 72 shoppers would recommend the product to a friend. However, not all Aldi shoppers were convinced, with some claiming the fire pit had a 'shoddy construction'.

Among the reviews, one shopper said: "For the price, this is astonishingly well made. You could easily pay three times the price and not get anything like the quality. I used kiln dried wood and it burnt cleanly without too much smoke and was lovely to sit around. Decent grade steel which should last a while."

A second review read: "Really pleased with this fire pit, its very sturdy and excellent quality with minimal assembly. Used it a few times and its perfect for my garden."

A third review read: "Sturdy and strong - the metal basin is a good thickness and the legs are sturdy and strong. This should last for many, many years. Great value!!"

A fourth shopper said: "Used the fire pit a few times and it is very well made and would recommend it."

Shoppers can purchase the fire pit for £35 here. Alternative products include this £60 Copper Rim Fire Pit from VonHaus or this £25 Round Steel Fire Pit from B&Q.
