Aldi’s sell-out heated clothes horse available in-stores Sunday - and could save you hundreds

Aldi’s much-loved heated clothes horse, which instantly proved to be a must-have with customers, is returning to stores across Ireland this Sunday, October 9.

The popular Special buy can be picked up just in time for the winter as the washing line is abandoned for another few months - although shoppers need to be quick to avoid missing out.

As energy bills continue to rise, families are constantly looking for ways to make their finances go further, and this budget-friendly 230W Folded Wing Heated Airer offers people a quick way of saving on the cost of running the dryer.

It costs just cents an hour to use, making it much less straining on monthly bills than the tumble dryer, and is priced at €49.99 - 27% cheaper than Argos’ offering and 43% less than Currys’ heated clothes horse.

It features 20 heating tubes that instantly heat up as soon as it’s plugged in, so users won’t have to wait long for their clothes, towels, and bedding to be dry.

The large foldable wings also provide plenty of space for clothes. The airer is versatile for smaller spaces, with its lightweight folding design enabling it to be easily packed away when not in use.

From the almost 1,000 reviews on Aldi’s website - over half of which (546) are five stars ratings - 75% of overall reviewers also said they would recommend the product to a friend.

One customer said: “I bought this a few weeks ago, so glad I did, [it] dries the clothes well and warms the room it's in, [I] didn't need to put [the] heating on so [a] great saving.”

Another added: “Bought this as an economical way to dry our clothes & I’m not disappointed. Very efficient, just keep moving the clothes around so they dry evenly.”

However, not everyone is convinced: “Although the rails warm up really well, I’m not convinced it’s the best thing for drying clothes.

“It only dried the parts that touch the bar even after a couple of hours and with a cover. You would need to constantly turn the clothes around for them to dry properly.”
