Aldi's popular heated airer that customers 'absolutely love' has now returned to stores. The gadget costs just 7p per hour to run and has been selling out across the UK.
The heated airer, which is priced at £39.99 and has twenty heated bars, is being sold online and in store. It comes as many are looking for ways to cut their energy bills as typical household bills now cost £2,500 per year.
Heater clothes dryers are now being used as alternatives to tumble dryers and radiators. Aldi's product is said to cost less than 51p to run for eight hours, compared to the average cost of a tumble dryer cycle of 67p.

The post announcing the product's return garnered a big reaction on Facebook. One fan said: "Absolutely love ours, much cheaper to use than the drier."
Another commenter added: "Love mine! They work great if u use them correctly. Extra spin on ur clothes and don’t overload the airer and use the cover."
A third fan said: "Mine's brill, dries a load of washing in a day you just have to arrange the washing right and move tops midway thru. Dunno why people are moaning, not used the tumble drier at all since we bought it."
