Aldi's 'delicious' new dupe that tastes 'just like' Greggs favourite

Aldi fans are loving a new festive item from the store, so much so in fact that the new snack has sold out online.

In the run-up to December 25, supermarkets have been unveiling limited edition items that are perfect for this time of year and Aldi is no different - and one product in its festive range has got customers talking.

Taking to a Facebook group dedicated to fans of the budget retailer, many shoppers have praised the new item. Aldi is now selling Crestwood Festive Bakes.

The product comes in packs of two and the pasties are described as: "Tender chicken breast pieces with smoked bacon, sage seasoning and cranberries, in a creamy rich sauce, wrapped in flaky golden pastry".

The 99p packs are available in the frozen section at Aldi stores. Many Aldi shoppers have commented on the likeness between the bakes and a similar item from Greggs.

Sharing a photo of Aldi's version in the group, one shopper simply said: "Giving these a go". Many others quickly commented, as one said: "These are delicious, just like Greggs".

A second said: "Omg I need these please", while a third said: "Two is not enough, there should be four in a pack". A fourth said: "These are gorgeous, we tried them yesterday".
