Budget supermarket Aldi has just brought back one of their iconic dupe candles that is a whopping £59 cheaper than its designer version.
From candles and home fragrances to skincare and beauty products, the German grocer has become legendary for their line of dupes that shoppers swear by.
One such dupe is Aldi's Hotel Collection, No.16 Oud and Bergamot candle that has received rave reviews online and costs just £3.99.
The budget candle is part of Aldi's popular own-branded range that has often been compared to the £62 Jo Malone version, with shoppers sharing their reviews on TikTok.
And you don't just have to take our word for it, as the supermarket's candle has officially sold out online.
Before it was snapped up by savvy shoppers, one reporter from The Manchester Evening News did manage to grab one to check it out for themselves.
The candle comes in a matte grey container with a silver lid, described by the German retailer as ‘luxurious’ with a 50-hour burn time.
Bethan Shufflebotham said that the packaging "looked fairly minimalist and expensive, but the matte finish on the jar makes it prone to scuffs and knocks, unlike its pricier counterpart."
As for the fragrance, the German retailer's candle was found to have a woody scent that is rich and intense, reminiscent of a high quality luxury aftershave.
She also added: " You don’t get that alcohol or chemical fragrance sharpness when you take a close whiff of these candles. They’re not overpowering, but when lit, they serve the room in which they’re in well.
They look very stylish, and as the resident of a mostly grey-decor home, it fits in very well."
The MEN reporter was not the only shopper impressed with the budget candle, as quite a few others have heaped praise on the budget fragrance.
One commented: “Like JM (Jo Malone). Love this candle. Always stock up every time they’re in. Wish they were out all the time.”
Another added: "Wonderful fragrance and amazing value for money . Why pay high street prices for candles? Wish this was available throughout the year."
A third said: "Beautiful candle. An absolutely lovely smell - it looks expensive too."
Aldi's Oud and Bergamot Candle is part of their Hotel Collection range that went viral on social media for being similar to the designer brand.
The German chains luxury-inspired fragrances have won them praise for being similar to Jo Malone's designer fragrances at a fraction of the cost.
Their most recent designer dupe range of candles were launched for Valentine's Day, with some of the range still being available in select stores.
