Supermarket giant Aldi claims to have come-up with the "ultimate" budget-friendly picnic. The retailer has dreamed up a shopping list of 13 "perfect" items which will feed four people for under £20.
They've released the list ahead of the start of National Picnic Month, which takes place in August. It includes from traditional Cornish clotted cream and fresh strawberries to British cheese and even sparkling wine.
According to the firm customers can get "all they need to create the perfect picnic spread" for just £5 per head. The company says the 13 items will be enough to feed four people and will cost £19.93 if the menu is followed to the letter.
Prices for the items on the list start from as little as 31p. And that's not all.
If you don't actually have any equipment to go picnicking with, Aldi's selling picnic blankets and cooler bags for £8.99 each as well as a picnic wine table for £5.99.
