Aldi has revealed a wish list of priority locations across the country where it wants to build new stores.
The budget supermarket chain is eyeing up 55 different places as part of its expansion plans.
Some of the places where Aldi wants to open new stores include Aldershot, Sunderland, Guildford and Harrogate.
It has also highlighted Worthing, York and Drylaw, Edinburgh as key areas where it wants to expand.
Aldi, which already has more than 960 stores across the UK, is looking for freehold town-centre or edge-of-town sites that are around 1.5 acres.
Each site should be able to accommodate a 20,000 square foot store with around 100 parking spaces.
The location should ideally be near a main road with good visibility and access, the supermarket said.
Aldi is offering a finder’s fee for people who recommend a site, including members of the public.
The reward is either 1.5% of a freehold price or 10% of the first year’s rent for leasehold sites.
George Brown, National Property Director at Aldi UK, said: “By opening more Aldi stores, we can provide affordable, high-quality food to even more people.
“But despite our growth in recent years, some people still don’t have access to a local store, which is why it is our mission to continue on with our ambitious growth plans and change that.
“Our finder’s fee is available to anyone who can find Aldi an appropriate property so we’d encourage people to share any suitable suggestions and get it touch.”

The news comes after frontline workers at supermarket chain Aldi were given a pay rise from February 2022.
Shop floor assistants now get at least £10.10 an hour nationally, and those within the M25 are paid £11.55.
The chain used to pay staff £9.55 an hour - or £11.07 in London.
The company added that it offers paid breaks, which for the average store employee is worth £750 annually.
Last year, Aldi's direct rival Lidl announced plans to open dozens of new stores as part of an expansion drive that would also pave the way for 2,000 extra jobs.
It said £1.3billion will be invested into the project, which includes opening 50 new stores over the next 12 months.
