With the warmer weather creeping in, Brits across the country are set to be spending more time out in the garden - least not with three bank holiday weekends to look forward to. And Aldi have launched a brand new Specialbuy that’s a cheaper alternative to its popular hanging egg chair perfect for relaxing in the sun.
The budget retailer released its hanging egg chair - and larger, double egg chair - earlier this year, but now, shoppers can pre-order the new Belavi Cocoon Chair with Cover for even less.
While the ‘viral’ egg chair comes in at £199.99, and the double version costing £349.99, the Belavi chair will provide a similar aesthetic for a smaller price tag, coming in at £169.99.

The chair comes in two shades - cream and grey - so shoppers can update their space with the colour that best fits their garden. Described by Aldi as ‘comfortable and stylish’, the outdoor chair is ideal for those who love to sit outside under the sun with a book or a cold drink.
Similar to the egg chair, the Belavi piece is encompassed by a wicker weaving frame made out of steel, which gives the seat an added bit of cosiness. Available exclusively online, the £169.99 garden chair can be pre-ordered now, but is expected to be dispatched from April 27 - so it should arrive in time for the Coronation weekend.
The downside of it only being available to buy online means customers will have to pay an additional £9.95 for delivery, bringing the total cost to £179.94. The stylish chair is set to be perfect for those who enjoy soaking up a rare bit of English sun in their garden and comes fitted with white back and seat cushions.
Unlike similar designs at Aldi, the retailer has not implemented a limit on how many of these customers can buy. The store previously restricted sales of its £199 hanging chair to just two per person as increased demand saw thousands of customers queue to try and buy it.
As the relaunched Cocoon Chair is not available to buy in-store, shoppers will have to be quick to buy once again.
The style of the chair can go for hundreds of pounds extra on fellow outdoor furniture sites, which is why so many shoppers rush when it comes to Aldi's new outdoor collection.
A similar chair listed on Argos comes in at £250 - around £80 more than Aldi’s version, while one at The Range is even more, at £259.99. Rattan is expected to continue to be a very popular choice for outdoor furniture this year but if you want to get your hands on Aldi’s £170 chair, you can pre-order it online here.
