Aldi, Morrisons, Tesco and Sainsbury's slash Easter vegetables to just 19p per bag

The Easter weekend is almost upon us and many supermarkets are helping shoppers to get the essentials by slashing the cost of staple vegetables.

Alongside the yearly chocolate egg hunt, Easter Sunday lunch is another foodie tradition that many families will partake in during the seasonal holiday.

Which is exactly why, over the past few years, many supermarkets have been slashing the cost of six popular vegetables, such as potatoes, carrots, parsnips, swede, cucumber and spring onions, to as little as just 19p per bag.

Major supermarket chains such as Aldi, Morrisons, Asda, Lidl and Sainsbury's began introducing the price cuts across staple bags of veggies from this Morning.

Tesco has also launched the 19p offer across a range of vegetables, but the offer is only available for anyone with one of the supermarket chain's Clubcards.

So far, the deal is available in store and online, and to help figure out what veggies have been reduced in each supermarket, we have listed below all the savings you can currently find.
