With Easter just over a month away, Aldi is stocking a new chocolate bar in time to the festivities and it's already getting rave reviews from shoppers.
The Dairyfine Mini Chocolate Eggs Chunky Bar weighs 225g and is filled with whole mini eggs and is a whole £2 less than another retailer's equivalent. With a £2.99 price tag, it is a significant bargain compared to the M&S giant speckled egg bar, which costs £5 for a 250g bar.
Those who have tried the seasonal confectionary have taken to social media to sing its praises. Posting a video of the bar on TikTok, one person said: "Aldi Easter treats are banging. 100000% recommend Aldi mini eggs bar."
Another user who regularly posts food reviews, taste-tested the bar. As reported by Wales Online, account user @dylanreviews said: "Ooh that is nice, if not better than actual Mini Eggs."
Numerous fans commented on the video. One said: "I saw that today. I wish I'd bought it now." A second said: "I love Aldi chocolate." Another added: "I need this" and a fourth said: "Looks insane."
Aldi also shared a picture of the chocolate and said: "When we say run don't walk for this new staple in our cupboards... Easter has come early to Aldi and you can grab this Mini Eggs Chunky Bar in stores now!"
The bar is available in Aldi stores and via click-and-collect.
