Aldi launches pizza oven that is £3,000 cheaper than its rivals - and we need it

With summer edging nearer, now's the perfect time to upgrade your outdoor space ready for alfresco gatherings.

With this in mind, Aldi’s latest Specialbuy product couldn’t have arrived at a better time - but we have a feeling it won’t be around for long.

Aldi’s Gardenline gas powered pizza oven is the latest garden addition to hit the shelves this week and best of all? It’s priced at just £200.

The budget supermarket has warned customers that the pizza oven will be available online now, but like all Specialbuy's, once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Aldi has likened the pizza oven to the £2,959 Fontana pizza oven, which is known to be one of the best models available to help you cook delicious homemade pizzas. Similar in design and function, but certainly not in price, Aldi’s version will set you back just £200 - how good is that?

The black steel pizza oven comes with a removable pizza stone and two heat settings. It has wheels to move it around the garden and can be stored inside when not in use.

Aldi says buying the pizza oven could save you 94% compared to others available.

The product description says: ‘You'll be able to create crisp charred crusts alongside gooey pools of tomato and cheese. Plus, this mini oven features wheels and a handle for effortless transportation across your garden.’

It seems the pizza oven has already made its mark too, with many customers leaving glowing five-star reviews.

One customer calling it the ‘best buy ever’ said: “Best buy ever is worth every penny, hubby has never bought another pizza from a takeaway shop again.”

Another fan agreed saying: “Used this a few times now and the pizza's are better than takeaways. Restaurant quality at home.”

If pizza's not your thing, fear not, as there's plenty of other garden accessories to pick up from Aldi's extensive garden range.

The budget retailer is also selling a dupe of the Big Green Egg barbecue that costs just £399.99 - saving shoppers a whopping 69% compared to the original branded version which retails for £795.

Featuring two cooking grills, it boasts a Japanese-inspired insulated design that allows you to cook gorgeously smoky food.
