Aldi launches new hybrid pizza burger that 'tastes just like Domino's'

If there is something that we can all universally agree on, it is that a pizza and a burger are the two best options for a weekend takeaway treat. And if any of you foodies have found yourself getting stuck between the two for your next takeaway, then Aldi has got a real treat in store for you.

The geniuses over at the popular budget supermarket have only gone and cooked up their very own 'hybrid' pizza burger. Yes, you read that correctly, it is a pizza AND a burger all in one.

Aldi's Pizza Style Burger is priced at just £1.99, and is officially available in stores and for click and collect customers now, meaning you can nab one in time for your Friday night treat tomorrow.

The unique burger is said to capture the taste of another iconic takeaway brand - Domino's. The German grocer has said that their creative burger "captures the taste of popular meat topped pizzas such as the cult classic Domino’s Meat Feast. "

The succulent 100% British beef burger is packed full of fragrant herbs, cheese and fresh tomato to make the perfect fakeaway hybrid.

And if the pizza burger isn't enough to get your taste buds tingling, then Aldi has launched another 'hybrid' burger that combines the iconic flavours of an all-American classic. The Specially Selected Maple and Bacon Burger is here for anyone who likes a bit of sweetness with their savoury burger.

Also priced at £1.99, this American style pork burger also brings its own unique flavour combinations that mixes the taste of sweet maple and salty bacon into one succulent patty.

If you're wanting to nab one of Aldi's unique new 'hybrid' burgers, then the supermarket has urged shoppers to be quick, as once they're gone, they're gone.

Aldi's £1.99 new Pizza Style Burger and Maple and Bacon Burger are available for click and collect and in stores now.
