Aldi launch new flavour of £12 gin that's 'superior to Gordon's'

The sun is shining which means it's the perfect time for a nice chilled fruity G&T.

Aldi have launched a brand new flavour to their Greyson's Gin range which shoppers are saying is 'superior to Gordon's'. The White Peach flavour has been added to their award-winning range of gins, and it'll cost shoppers £12.99 as opposed to a £21 bottle of Gordon's.

The Greyson's range already has flavours like Sicilian lemon, Mediterranean orange, pink gin and a London Dry Gin. Shoppers have been quick to compare the range to Gordon's gin, which also had similar summer flavours back in 2020.

The new gin has already won a silver medal at the International Wine and Spirits Challenge, and is bound to be a hit with customers now that the sun is finally shining. Describing the new gin flavour, Aldi said: “Boasting subtly sweet and mellow flavours, this gin will transport taste buds to a sunny Californian coast waterfront for an alternative G&T. "

Aldi shoppers have left plenty of positive reviews on the other gin flavours available to buy online. On a review of the Sicilian lemon gin, one shopper said: "Good flavoured gin. Certainly on par with other well known more expensive gins. Mixes well with either tonic or Aldi’s fresh still lemonade. Would recommend & certainly re-purchase."

A second review of the Mediterranean orange gin read: "In my opinion this gin is every bit as good as a well known brand from other supermarkets. It isn't overly sweet and most definitely tastes of oranges, as it is meant to do. I can highly recommend this product." A third said: "Really good gin. One my favourites. The orange flavour really comes through."

Although the new White Peach flavour currently isn't available to buy online, it will be available to purchase at your local store. The budget supermarket suggests serving the gin with ice and tonic with a garnish of peach slice and basil - delicious!
