Aldi last-minute drinks offers cut cost of St Patrick's Day parties

Budget supermarket Aldi is giving customers a last-minute chance to stock up on their favourite Irish tipples to celebrate. For shoppers yearning for a taste of the Emerald Isle, the chain is offering everything needed to mark the event.

For a touch of indulgence this St Patrick’s Day, Aldi’s Ballycastle Irish Country Cream (£3.75, 70cl) presents a blend of fresh cream and Irish whiskey with rich chocolate and vanilla flavours. This smooth and balanced liqueur is served beautifully over ice or even as part of a boozy dessert. The Aldi offer doesn’t pull on the purse strings, coming in at almost 70 per cent cheaper than Baileys.

And a St Patrick's Day celebration would not be complete without a traditional pint of the beer most associated with the Emerald Isle. Guinness has been brewed since 1759 and is renowned the world over.

Famous Irish favourite, Guinness Draught Stout (£4.49, 4x440ml) serves up the beloved deep, velvety flavour which is perfectly complemented by its characteristic taste. Priced at just £4.49, Aldi shoppers can save 10 per cent versus Ocado’s prices.

Aldi’s full range of St Patrick’s Day drinks are available online and in store now.
