Aldi is giving away free nappies to shoppers - and here's how to claim them

Aldi has teamed up with Netmums to offer parents a fantastic freebie for their newborn - and there are no purchases involved.

The promotional giveaway is limited to one pack per person and all parents need to do is sign up to the Netmums forum by filling in a free short form and they will receive a voucher for a full-size pack of 24 Mamia 'newborn' nappies worth 79p.

The Netmums website says the voucher usually arrives within two weeks in the post and can then be redeemed at any Aldi store while stocks last. The supermarket giant is giving away thousands of free packs, so don't forget to tell your friends about the offer also.

You’ll have until December 31 to use it to redeem the freebie. Once you have your voucher, simply take it to your local Aldi store and show it at the checkout.

The Mamia nappies come in a 'Size 1', which Aldi says fits babies weighing between 4-11lbs (2-5kg).

The only catch is that the Mamia newborn nappies are exclusively available at Aldi, so you won't be able to pick them up anywhere else.

You have to venture into the store to pick them up too, as the freebie can't be redeemed online.

To find your nearest Aldi store, we’ve popped a handy locator tool here for ease.

We first spotted the freebie on money-saving website Latest Deals, where the description lets bargain hunters know how to claim the nappies.

The description says: “Not only will you enjoy a complete bargain (don't we all love getting free stuff!) your baby will be super comfortable thanks to the clever Dry Fast Technology.”

It continues: “This means the nappies have up to two times faster absorption, designed to leave your new baby feeling fresh and dry. They are also hypoallergenic and have a clever wetness indicator which lets you know when it’s time to pop a new nappy on your baby.”

Shoppers were quick to share their excitement, with one commenting on the post: "It does actually work - I got the free nappies when my grandson was born."

While another said: "Good for parents to be!"

So, if you're looking to stock up on some free nappies, sign up here to get your voucher and claim today.
