Aldi fans swoon over 'fantastic' £3 toner that they all say 'beats major brand'

Savvy bargain hunters looking to snap up some affordable luxury beauty products have been flocking to their nearest Aldi for a cheap toner they say "beats Pixi."

As the cost of living crisis continues to affect our budgets, many shoppers have been ditching major branded products for value brands in a bid to save some cash. One place that has become the go-to for beauty enthusiasts recently has been Aldi, with its Lacura range gaining cult-like status over the years.

The latest product from the supermarket's skincare line to receive glowing praise from shoppers is the Lacura Healthy Rose Glow Toner that has managed to convert fans of the popular Pixi Rose Tonic, which it is said to be a 'dupe' of.

Aldi's Rose Glow Toner is priced at just £2.99 for a 250ml bottle, which is much cheaper than the Pixi branded Rose Tonic which would set shoppers back £18 for a 250ml bottle at the likes of Pixi Beauty and Boots.

Said to brighten your complexion, the Lacura Rose Glow Toner can be applied with a cotton pad and swept over the face and neck every morning and evening after cleansing. Regular use of the toner is said to remove impurities, whilst also leaving skin soft and smooth.

And you don't just have to take our word for it, as shoppers who have previously purchased the £2.99 Rose Glow Toner from Aldi have been singing its praises on the supermarket's website, with some hailing it as being "better than Pixi's toner."

One glowing reviewer wrote: "Better than Pixie. I have used all of these toners and love them all. My skin shines with radiance after I use this, after cleansing and just to freshen up in a morning."

A second Pixi fan exclaimed: "I usually use Pixie toner. I think I pay about £18.00 for it. I bought the Lacura toner on recommendation from a friend. It's great!! I cannot tell the difference. I bought the rose toner and it's really gentle but does a good job."

A third happy shopper commented: "As good as Pixie. Leaves skin feeling soft and hydrated just like Pixie branded toner."

A fourth added: "I usually use Pixie brand but tried this and it’s as good looks and smells the same. But a quarter of the price"

Another enthusiastic shopper wrote: "Fantastic toner as good as more expensive ones great value."

The Lacura Healthy Rose Glow Toner is priced at £2.99 for a 250ml bottle and it is exclusively available in Aldi stores, so you cannot purchase it online. Check with your local Aldi store for stock availability, as Specialbuys are notoriously popular.
