Aldi has revealed when its stores will be open during the Christmas period.
The supermarket will be extending its trading hours by opening from 7am until 10pm from Monday, December 19 in order to give shoppers more time to purchase food, drink and gifts ahead of the big day. Stores will also be open until 6pm on Christmas Eve, but customers are advised to check their local store times online in order to avoid disappointment.
As usual, all of Aldi's stores will be closed on Christmas Day. The supermarket chain will keep its branches closed on Boxing Day as a thank you to staff for their hard work throughout the year - something it has always done since opening in the UK over 30 years ago.

The majority of Aldi stores will be open from 8am until 8pm in between Christmas and New Year, as well as until 6pm on New Year's Eve to allow shoppers to get everything they need to see in 2023. Stores will also be open until 8pm on Bank Holiday Monday (January 2).
Aldi is also offering a click and collect service in over 200 of its stores, allowing shoppers to choose from a range of grocery items online before heading to their local store where their items will be brought to their car by Aldi colleagues. Christmas pre-order slots will be revealed soon.
