Discount supermarket chain Aldi has announced that it is looking to hire 349 new staff at stores across Nottinghamshire between now and the end of the year. The UK’s fifth-largest supermarket is on the lookout for people of all levels of experience to fill roles at stores across the region.
Both part-time and full-time positions including stock assistant and caretaker, all the way up to assistant store manager, with salaries of up to £33,815 will be available. Stores in Nottinghamshire where Aldi is looking to hire include Retford, Harworth, and Worksop.
The recruitment push forms part of Aldi’s nationwide expansion drive, with the supermarket on track to create 2,000 permanent new roles across the UK this year.

Last month, Aldi announced a second pay increase this year for employees. Staff earn an hourly rate of £10.50 nationally with paid breaks included.
