One keen-eyed shopper has revealed that some of the biggest supermarkets in the country have changed their logos with customers realising. Even though most people nip into their local shop multiple times a week to pick up the essentials, they may not have noticed that Aldi and Asda have subtly updated their iconic branding recently.
In a post that has since gone viral on Tik Tok, user @crapipadart revealed how some supermarket logos have been altered from their classic recognisable designs. In the clip, the logos for Aldi, Asda, Co-op and Morrisons are shown before and after they were updated.
While the Co-op and Morrisons changes are more obvious, with the two chains undergoing a full rebranding in recent years, most shoppers likely weren't aware of the smaller updates made to the Aldi and Asda branding. Alongside the video, @crapipadart wrote: "Logos that changed without you even noticing".

The classic Aldi logo features six thin lines which come together to form the A, with the name of the chain being written blow. The A appears on a dark blue backdrop and is surrounded by a red border, as well as a second orange border and wide yellow curved border on the outside.
The new branding meanwhile has more thick and curved lines forming the A, while the red, orange, and yellow borders appear significantly smaller.
For Asda, the new logo appears to look almost identical to the old one — but there's one subtle but major change. The shade of green has been altered to be lighter and brighter.

Some TikTok users were even surprised by the new Morrisons logo, which appears in green with a collection of yellow leaves above it. Others pointed out that the old Co-op logo seen in the video is still used by the company.
More than 414,000 people have watched the video, with thousands liking and hundreds commenting.
One person said: "The new Aldi one I didn't even realise had happened lol.
Another wrote: "Why am I emotional over supermarket logos?"
A third replied: "Morrisons had a glow-up."
