Aldi £6.99 SpecialBuy shoppers say give 'extra warmth for winter' is on sale now

With winter on the way and energy prices on the rise, many households are thinking about ways to keep costs down when the cold weather hits.

Luckily, budget supermarket Aldi has just launched a range of thermal clothing that shoppers have been rating five stars for giving “extra warmth this winter.”

Best of all? Prices start from just £6.99 for a pair of Thermal Bottoms, so you won’t have to fork out a fortune to stay warm.

The warming range includes short sleeve tops, thermal bottoms and thermal fishing joggers, which are designed with a blend of cotton fibres to “keep you warm throughout the winter.”

Aldi says the items provide "high wearing comfort and good thermal regulation" and can be worn underneath an over garment to stay well insulated.

They’re perfect for long winter dog walks, or some extra layering when it gets a little chilly in the house.

Customers who have already bought and tried the garments have left plenty of five star reviews online. One delighted customer wrote: “Brought this thermal t-shirt for my husband. He’s very pleased with it, and says it is very warm and comfortable to wear. Have washed it once and it seems absolutely fine. Great value for money.”

A second said: “Excellent generous fit, silky smooth material and retains copious amounts of heat at a reasonable price. Well recommended.”

While a third added: “I've had this out in 0 degrees and lower, as a base layer, with a thermal jersey and jacket. I was absolutely toasty, without being too warm. The jersey is very light, comfortable and a good fit to size. I have a number of Aldi base layers, for autumn/spring, summer, and winter, and they all compare very favourably with the more expensive "proper" cycling brands."

You can check the whole range out here - but be quick as it's selling fast.
