Aldi’s own brand vodka has been named the best in the world at the World Vodka Awards 2022.
The supermarket’s own brand, which is priced at £14.99 for a 70cl bottle, beat the ‘Misty Isle’ vodka - which is double the price.
The news comes as Aldi have brought back the shopper favourite Saint Gérmont Premium Raspberry Vodka (70cl, £14.99).

Crafted in the heart of France and distilled five times for purity, the sweet vodka is over half the price of the Belvedere Raspberry vodka.
The award adds to Aldi’s impressive collection of over 260 different awards in the last year.
It’s not just vodka that the supermarket offers affordable dupes for, their Ballycastle Irish Cream is less than half the price of a standard bottle of Bailey’s.
Described as "very smooth" by shoppers, the vodka has won gold, leaving Misty Isle vodka with bronze.
