Albion Rovers game axed due to waterlogged pitch after Met Office yellow warning

Albion Rovers face a third attempt to get their clash with Cowdenbeath on after the tie was axed.

Following a pitch inspection earlier today, it was judged by the referee that the pitch was waterlogged and unplayable.

The Met Office issued a warning earlier today for snow and ice from 8pm in Lanarkshire.

Motherwell are set to host St Mirren tonight in their fixture that was axed due to poor weather a couple of weeks ago.

West Dunbartonshire has been issued with a snow and ice warning from 8pm with Clyde set to travel to Lanarkshire to face Dumbarton.

"Due to a waterlogged pitch tonight’s match against Cowdenbeath has been called off after the referees pitch inspection."
