Forgotten Celtic flop Albian Ajeti is reportedly unhappy with the options on the table that would allow him to leave the Scottish champions before the end of the summer window.
The frontman has failed to live up to his £5million price tag that sealed his move from West Ham in 2020, and despite reporting to Lennoxtown for pre-season training has yet to feature in a match day squad this season, with his last appearance in the green and white hoops coming all the way back in December 2021 in the Europa League dead rubber against Real Betis.
Ange Postecoglou has been clearing out the deadwood from his squad this summer with fringe stars including Vasilis Barkas, Ismaila Soro, Boli Bolingoli and Christopher Jullien among the forgotten stars being shipped out of Celtic Park. The Parkhead boss has been open about the possibility of moving the Swiss striker on in this window, admitting he expected to see some "movement" before the September 1 deadline.
The forward looks to have little change of game time ahead of the likes of Kyogo Furuhashi, Giorgos Giakoumakis Daizen Maeda and summer arrival Sead Haksabanovic, who can all operate as a central striker. However, Sky Sports report Ajeti could remain in Glasgow's east end.
The 25-year-old has been told Celtic will not stand in his way with the club open to offers. While Ajeti is reportedly keen to leave for regular football, it is stated he has "not been convinced by any of the clubs who have expressed an interest in him so far."
Since arriving under Neil Lennon, Ajeti has netted just nine goals in all competitions. He scored three last term during a rare run in the starting line-up, with Kyogo and Giakoumakis missing through injury.
