Chelsea striker Armando Broja enjoyed a strong loan spell with Southampton last season but has failed to replicate his impressive form for the Blues.
Broja has started just twice so far this season for Chelsea after Thomas Tuchel convinced the youngster to stay at Stamford Bridge following interest from West Ham and Napoli. The 21-year-old suffered an ankle injury earlier this week and was substituted in the 50th minute of Albania's friendly against Italy.
Chelsea are set to carry out further medical checks in the coming days, but he is not expected back for the upcoming friendly match against Armenia. Whilst Broja's injury isn't thought to be serious, the Blues' medical department are set to assess any potential damage to understand the full extent of the 21-year-old's injury.

Broja is under contract at Chelsea until 2028 after penning new long-term conditions this summer – but one Albania FA chief wants him playing more regularly for the Blues. Speaking about Broja's development to the DailyEcho, Armand Duka said: "It's true [he is not playing regularly].
"It was better when he was at Southampton, where he was starting almost always in the starting line-up. Now he plays 15, 20 minutes every game, and it is not quite the same as playing 90."
When asked where he would prefer Broja to be playing, he joked that the Chelsea striker should make the switch to Serie A and join his favoured team AC Milan, whilst adding that it has to be best for his pitch time. Duka continued: "I care that he plays and that he feels good – I don't care where.
"Of course, if he plays for Milan, even better because I am a bit of a Milan fan!"
Graham Potter has only started twice under Graham Potter and failed to score on both occasions, having only registered one goal and one assist in 18 appearances. Chelsea have struggled in attack despite the return of Broja and the arrivals of Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with the likes of Christopher Nkunku and Cristiano Ronaldo being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge next year.
