Alanis Morisette has been forced to postpone her show at Manchester AO Arena tonight (June 25) due to an illness. The singer already cancelled her gig at Leeds’ First Direct Arena on Friday night.
In a tweet AO Arena said: “Alanis Morissette’s show tonight at Manchester AO Arena is being rescheduled to Thursday, 30th June 2022 due to illness. All tickets remain valid for the new date.
“If you can no longer attend the new date, please contact your point of purchase for a refund by 6pm BST on Tuesday, 28th June 2022.”

On Friday Alanis posted a tweet saying that her “entire vocal range” had gone and that she thought she would be able to “push through” the Leeds’ show but was forced to cancel. The star shared a video of herself speaking with a croaky voice and told her fans she was suffering from laryngitis.
She wrote:” I feel so sad to have to cancel tonight’s show in Leeds. The entire range of my voice is gone today. I thought I could push through like we did last night. But it’s gone. I love you and I am so sorry and I know I will see you again soon.”
Now AO arena have confirmed that the Manchester show will not go ahead tonight as planned, although the gig has been postponed until next week.
