Alan Shearer believes Crystal Palace will get back to winning ways soon if they continue to play as they did against Chelsea.
The Eagles have found it hard to get into gear since the World Cup break, winning just one and losing three of their Premier League games since returning, with an additional defeat in the FA Cup third round against Southampton.
Palace’s poor run of form continued on Sunday after Kai Havertz scored the winner for Chelsea in a 1-0 loss at Stamford Bridge. But the visitors arguably deserved to come away from West London with something, with boss Patrick Vieira feeling his side had done enough to take home a point at least.

Premier League all-time top goalscorer Shearer agrees that the wins will come if Palace replicate their performance against Chelsea. “Although they lost I thought it was a much better performance from them, five shots on target,” the former Newcastle United striker said on Match of the Day.
“They’ve lost four out of five since the World Cup and they’ve got three really tough games coming up. Man United, Newcastle, Man United again with the rearranged fixture. So [Vieira] will be looking for something similar in those games, if they do that they will be alright and get back to winning ways.”
Manchester United are in brilliant form at the moment with nine straight wins and just one defeat in their last 19 matches in all competitions. Newcastle, who are 3rd in the table, have lost just one league game this season and are unbeaten in their last 14 Premier League games.
