Former radio broadcaster Alan Jones will return to court on Tuesday after an additional charge of assault with an act of indecency was added, bringing his total charges to 35 and his number of alleged victims to 11.
According to The Guardian, the alleged incident with the 11th victim took place in Tamworth in June 2013. Jones is accused of squeezing the victim’s bottom.
While the former shock jock already had a scheduled return to Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court for a committal hearing for the initial 34 charges, the 35th has now been listed.

Jones first appeared in court on December 18, 2024 in which he entered a not-guilty plea to 34 indecent assault charges.
“These allegations are all either baseless or they distort the truth,” the 83-year-old told the media at the time.
“I have never indecently assaulted these people. The law assumes that I’m not guilty, and I am not guilty. That’s all I can say at the moment, but I am emphatic that I will be defending every charge before a jury in due course.”
Jones was initially arrested on November 18, 2024, from his luxury apartment in Circular Quay, Sydney, after a raid from the specialist police investigation unit, Strike Force Bonnefin.
The unit was created following a report by The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald, which alleged that Jones had used his position of power to prey on young men.
