Alan Hutton has identified the wide right position as a problem area for Rangers that needs addressed by Michael Beale.
The Light Blues gaffer is currently working hard behind the scenes on his summer recruitment drive as he bids to dethrone Celtic next season with a new face in the dugout to battle in the shape of Brendan Rodgers following Ange Postecoglou's move to Tottenham in the English Premier League. Champions League qualifiers also come around early for the Ibrox men with two rounds to negotiate to reach the big time.
Work on new recruits is already well underway with FOUR in total signed up. Sam Lammers is the most recent with the frontman penning a deal from Serie A outfit Atalanta. He joins pre-contract trio Kieran Dowell, Dujon Sterling and Jack Butland in signing on the dotted line. More faces are expected to come and go over the coming weeks after the exits of Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent due to expired contracts alongside a number of team-mates.

The latter has left a void in the wide area with former star Joe Aribo also cited. Hutton reckons it is a position that needs addressed with a player in the similar profile as the ones who have left the club.
He told Football Insider: “I think the wide right position has been a little bit of a problem.
“Aribo really changed that role with his technical ability and what he could do. Kent has left now as well so he is looking for options in those wide areas.
“There is probably a couple of positions that he will want to strengthen.
“These are areas that when you are playing games can change the game. If you have got a player like Ryan Kent who is on top form, in an instant can change a game so he is probably looking for that profile of player.“
