Alan Forrest is a better player than Celtic star sibling James, according to Ian McCall.
The Livingston winger has been strongly linked to Hearts after impressing this season.
Robbie Neilson 's side will be looking to strengthen as they prepare for their European campaign after the summer break with Lawrence Shankland another star who has been linked.
Amid the transfer discussions on BBC Sportsound on Sunday, Particle Thistle boss Ian McCall made a bold claim.
McCall not only reckons that the Livi man could strengthen the squad, he also thinks that the winger is a better player than his brother James - who has racked up well over 400 appearances for Celtic.
He said: "I know he (Robbie Neilson) knows this - they're light in the forward areas.
"And the good news for Hearts fans is if they manage to pull off Shankland and Forrest then they'll improve in that area no end.
"So I do think they're light in the forward areas."
Asked if Forrest is good enough for Hearts, McCall added: "Easily. I think now he's better than his brother."
