The Emmy for outstanding reality or competition series was awarded to “The Traitors,” a 10-episode reality competition murder mystery show. The show's host, Alan Cumming, graciously accepted the award and expressed his gratitude to Peacock, the cast and crew, and his home country, Scotland.

In his acceptance speech, Cumming highlighted the beauty of Scotland, referring to it as a 'beautiful co-star' that he owes everything to. The show features 20 contestants, with 10 of them being familiar faces from reality programs such as “Survivor,” “Below Deck,” “Big Brother,” and “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” These contestants compete for a grand prize of $250,000.

CNN had previously interviewed Cumming about his preparations for “The Traitors,” where he shared some of his travel must-haves. The show's unique concept and engaging format have captivated audiences, leading to its well-deserved recognition at the Emmy Awards.
