Alan Carr's Epic Gameshow aired tonight (Saturday, July 16) on ITV and on the show, Alan revealed to viewers where he was born and conceived.
ITV describes Alan Carr’s Epic Game Show as: “Alan Carr hosts five of the nation's favourite gameshows. Watch players attempt to win prizes in Play Your Cards Right, The Price is Right, Strike it Lucky, and more.”
Posing the question to one set of the contestants, Alan Carr said: “Everybody knows I was born in a hospital in Weymouth. But nobody knows I was conceived under a pool table in Marbella”.

This was shortly followed by a set of laughs from the audience. Alan then proceeded to ask the contestant their question: “Where is Marbella?” The contestant’s answered right, stating it was in Spain.
The 46-year-old started hosting Alan Carr’s Epic Gameshow in May 2020. Known for his funny witty character, Alan encourages laughter throughout the show as contestants compete to win money.
Born June 14, 1976, and starting out as a comedian, Carr made his breakthrough in his career in 2001, where he won the City Life Best Newcomer of the Year and the BBC New Comedy Awards. No stranger to hosting television shows, Carr has hosted his very own TV show where he would interview celebrity guests on Channel 4’s Alan Carr: Chatty Man.
The show ended in 2016 due to low ratings in comparison to the rival show, BBC’s Graham Norton.
Alam Carr's Epic Gameshow airs on Saturdays at 7pm.
