Tennessee botched a handoff and suddenly Alabama was up 7 rather than down 7.
The Tide got a 1-yard TD on a fourth-down pass by the marvelous Bryce Young to tie the game at 42 after the PAT with 8:38 left.
Young has been nothing short of magical in this SEC clash of the unbeatens.

And then Tennessee with a gaffe.
Hendon Hooker failed to connect on a handoff and Alabama’s Dallas Turner was on the spot, scooping the ball up and returning it 10 yards.
After the PAT, the top-ranked Crimson Tide lead 49-42 midway through the fourth quarter.
The two touchdowns came in 49 seconds and Alabama has 49 points after the burst.
