Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe and linebacker Jihaad Campbell have announced their decision to enter the NFL draft, foregoing their final seasons with the Crimson Tide. The announcement came just two days after Alabama's loss to Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl.

In a social media post, Milroe expressed his lifelong passion for football and his dream of competing at the highest level. Despite facing challenges and criticism, his dedication to the game has remained unwavering. Milroe concluded his statement by declaring his intention to enter the 2025 NFL Draft.

During the past season, Milroe showcased his skills by passing for 2,844 yards with 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He also made significant contributions on the ground, rushing for 726 yards and 20 touchdowns, including a standout performance in an upset victory over Georgia. Despite his individual success, Alabama finished the season with a 9-4 record and fell short of making the playoffs.

In his final game for Alabama, Milroe faced challenges, including fumbles, a sack, and an interception in the early drives. However, his overall collegiate career statistics reflect his impact on the team, with 6,016 passing yards, 45 touchdowns, 20 interceptions, 1,579 rushing yards, and 33 rushing touchdowns.

On the defensive side, Jihaad Campbell emerged as a key player for the Crimson Tide, recording 117 tackles, 11 1/2 tackles for loss, five sacks, and two forced fumbles in his role as a starting linebacker last season. Campbell expressed gratitude for his time at Alabama, acknowledging the growth he experienced both as a player and as a person during his three years with the program.

Both Milroe and Campbell emphasized their readiness to take the next step in their careers, with aspirations of competing at the professional level.
